A New Univeristy Feature: ¡Las Raíces de Tu Comida!
The Latinx Resource Center in collaboration with the UCI Center for Black Cultures, Resources and Research held a program called ¡Las Raíces de Tu Comida! in order to highlight the variety of foods that stem from Latin America, with an emphasis on Indigenous and Afro-Latinx cultural foods. Led by our wellness programs intern, Lesley Osorio, and Eeron Wilson from the Center for Black Cultures, Resources and Research, the event included a presentation portion on Latinx foods while attendees enjoyed a common Venezuelan and Colombian dish.
