The Story Behind Our Artwork
Designed by our Graphic Design Intern Jenelle Monge, our artwork is meant to represent the past, present and future of the Latinx community. Our temple signifies Latinx history while the magnifying glass symbolizes research we are responsible to do now and always in order to properly move forward as a community.
Surrounding the temple within the magnifying glass are three different patterns showcasing early Latin America civilizations: the Incas at the top, Aztecs in the center left and right, and the Mayans below. Finally, the plants surrounding our research implies the growth gained from consistently educating our selves that we hope you will share with us.
