The 5th Annual Latino Excellence & Achievement Dinner Awards Ceremony was a great success. The event began with folclórico dancers and the main speaker was the first Latina teacher in the history of UC Francés Contreras, who presented 15 awards to graduating Latino students who have made incredible strides in the academy. The night ended with an award for the founder of the LEAD awards program Verónica Ahumada.
