Univision COVID-19 Interview : ER Nurse Norma Hernández-Ramírez

Norma Hernández-Ramírez is a DNP-FNP student who is an ER nurse working with underserved populations. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a BS degree in Physiology, and from the University of San Francisco with a MS in Nursing in the Clinical Nurse Leader program. During her time in graduate school, she organized medical missions locally and abroad. She hopes to decrease health disparities and create change in healthcare, particularly in Latino communities, by obtaining her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration at UCI.
